Training Environment
Classes are structured to be safe, respectful, and judgment-free, no matter your current skill level. Training is engaging and fun, but always disciplined, productive, and educational.
Erik Blaydes has spent over 23 years learning, practicing, and teaching taekwondo. Born and raised in Akron, he has dedicated his life to martial arts and takes real pride in giving back to the community by coaching kids, teens, and adults with equal focus, high standards, and a sense of purpose.
Our mission is to help students build confidence, discipline, and practical self-defense skills while developing a strong, active, and healthy lifestyle. We serve kids, teens, and adults, creating a training path for every age and experience level.

Students progress through a clear belt path: White, orange, yellow, green, purple, blue, brown, red, and black. Skills and forms are built week by week, with testing held each quarter for the next level. Over time, students also grow in leadership, confidence, consistency, and personal responsibility.
